So my female dog had 7 pups. 1 female and 6 males. Me and the studs owner never signed any contracts or anything, he also claimed his dog is papered, but through Australia, and claims he does not have them. I'm in canada. And I've never seen proof of papers or anything. I traveled 45 minutes 6 different times to bring my female to him. We agreed on puppy as payment. I told him from day one, I was taking first choice make. He agreed to this every time I said it. I sent him pictures of the puppies on sept 5, and stated which one I am keeping. He said "cant wait to meet them" So now, he wants the one I chose. He called our mutual friend and got her to call me about it. And I told him again tonight that I'm keeping that one. NOW he is threatening a lawyer over the puppy because google states he gets first choice.... but again we have no agreement and I stated multiple times I was taking first choice male. He never said anything about him getting first choice.... he also kept saying he wanted a female. There is only one, and now he doesnt want her. Fine.

But can he legally do anything if there is no contract?
