How do you sell your bikes?? I only get lowballs and no serious buyers

This is not an ad for my bike. I just need some good advice! This is not a “for sale” post.

I did a minor restoration of my 2003 Kawasaki kx250 and put it up on Craigslist, OfferUp, and Facebook marketplace. So far I’ve gotten PayPal scammers and kids that lowball the hell out of me. What am I doing wrong here? I put it up for 2500 hoping to get over 2k for it. I’m in California where the gov doesn’t love 2 strokes. I also don’t have the title because I bought it off a homeless guy who lost the title years ago. (Have confirmed he bought the bike from a dealer) any advice??
