I'm following the build but I die instantly. What is wrong?

meteor shower fire build. I've got my buff skills active. I get that I'm supposed to take advantage of the firebird 20 stack thing but everything dies the moment it's ignited. Problem is since everything is dead i'm basically always at 0 stacks and i get oneshot by anything with a ranged attack. What do I do? I wanna finish GR70 so I can be eligible for primals but I'm stuck at 63.
