(If you guys have any questions about EB/MM/Woh, I'd be more than happy to answer)
Currently farming t4 relatively easily (but prefer t3 for sheer speed since I don't have to stop to cast and EBs will wipe stuff out as I walk past once without having to double-back), I'm having some survivability issues at t5-t6. I do mat farming on t6 and I switch to a highly defensive setup:
- Glass Cannon -> Blur
- Force Weapon -> Deflection
- Pinpoint Barrier -> Prismatic Armor
- Dominance -> Unwavering Will
- Harrington's Waistguard -> String of Ears
- Spellsteal/Supermassive -> Event Horizon
Even on t6 I can melt elite packs in 2 Frost Nova CDs if I can stand close and spam MM. But obviously it's difficult for me to survive some of the nastier affixes.
Aside from typical upgrades (e.g., better rolls on Cindercoat, CDR instead of IAS on stuff), what do you guys recommend to boost survivability without taking too much of a hit on damage? Any clear damage upgrades?
One Wizard posted a Woh/EB build which used Born's set instead of Cindercoat & Andariel's. It's a decent survivability bump at 15% Life and losing the fire damage taken mod on Andy's, but the tradeoff is massive since I'd lose out on potentially 40% Fire damage. A better String of Ears of course would be better (currently have near-min roll on reduced damage and no MM skill modifier). Double Unitys would be ideal of course.
TL;DR - EB Wizards comfortably and efficiently doing t6: What can I do to up my toughness? Any potential damage gains aside from rolling better ranges/mods?
Thanks!
