27(f) I'm not even sure where to begin. The changes have been very sudden though. I recently began noticing my front right tooth becoming greyish or almost see through within the last couple of weeks. Looking at it today I am CERTAIN its gotten more transparent or see through than the last time I looked. It's starting to cover half the tooth.
Looking now, it appears the left front tooth is also starting to develop the same issue and perhaps the bottom front teeth as well, but only at the tops of them (for now, lol). I took this pic today and I wish I would've taken a pic of two a couple of weeks ago to see the progression worsening.
Looking back at pics from early December and October, my teeth weren't like this at all. And they especially weren't looking like this throughout 2023. I'm not sure what's going on - anyone else experienced this or something similar? I have a dental exam tomorrow and I'm hoping we can discuss options then . But ofc my mind is going to "your teeth will all need to be extracted and you'll need dentures at 27" :(
I can't think of anything that's changed in my diet. I have been drinking coffee but I only have 1 cup a day 5-6 days a week. And I've had coffee throughout my adult years, pretty consistently. I stopped for about a year or two some time between 2015-2023 bc I know it stains teeth. But these don't look like stains ...
I am gluten intolerant and have limited most glutenous foods from my diet at this point (still room for improvement). And I stopped taking Prozac cold turkey back in October as I noticed it did considerable damage to my physical being and emotional state. Wondering if this tooth deformation could be a result of stopping it? IDFK!!!! Help!!!!
Do you drink red wine or tea? It kind of looks like it could be staining on the lingual surface of the teeth but the shadow of the stain is showing through. Teeth are naturally thinner and more translucent near the incisal edges.
