Mod message: Rules update!
Post Body

We have just updated the rules of this subreddit. There are no drastic changes to the nature of this place, but a couple of overdue clarifications to rules that were a bit vague. We hope that these clarifications provide a clearer guidline and make mod decisions more predictable and consistent.

This is especially true for rule 5. The previous version of it about "low quality images and videos" left a lot of room for interpretation, and members of this subreddit have very different ideas as to where to draw the line. Recently, this led to a lot of posts being reported, and some (luckily mostly civil) arguing, and the lack of a clear definition made every mod decision a judgement call - often inconsistent with previous decisions, which led to some understandable frustration.

This is why we've now introduced a minimum required resolution of 600x400pixel for everything posted here. Some of you will find this threshold too high, and others too low, but we had to draw the line somewhere, and that is the compromise that we decided upon. Please keep it in mind for all future posts.

We will not retroactivly re-mod past contributions and reports, but will judge all new posts from now on based on this. Posters should now have a better idea upfront if their content is good to be posted here, and we hope to see fewer reports, less need for mod intervention, and more creative and high quality content.

So, please make yourself familiar with the new rules, and don't forget the most important unwritten one as well: Good girls don't cum!

Happy edging and posting. :-)

EDIT:

If a post gets reported and violates any of the rules of our subreddit, I will remove it.

However, if a post sticks to the rules and gets reported as "more crap from X", I don't give a fuck. The mods are not judges of taste, and reporting a valid post just because you don't like it is childish. I'm seeing a lot of those reports lately, and I'm not happy about that. I won't remove posts that I myself don't like as long as they stick to the rules, and I certainly won't be the thug who enforces the taste of someone else who abuses the "report" button.

The report button and the mods are there to handle rules violations. If you think something is crap, downvote it and move on.
