We know for a fact that Toby initially wanted to release every chapter after 1 as a paid-for bundle, with chapter 1 being essentially a demo. But after chapter 1 there was a 3 year gap due to engine changes, injury and 2020 being, well, 2020.

As an apology Toby released chapter 2 for free which was amazing and it's been so much fun enjoying the work from the fans, because they could focus their energy on everything on this one chapter as we wait for the next.

Having down time to process, create art and theories is a wonderful time for fans, and something I'm looking forward to again when the next chapters come out. However, Toby has said he plans to have 3, 4 & 5 come out together, and while I'll be thrilled to have that much content, I would honestly prefer he just releases the chapters one at a time.

Each chapter will involve new dark worlds, new music, new bosses and characters and I'd really enjoy letting the fan base take their time to enjoy them individually. That, and if we're lucky it would take less time in-between releases. What do you lovelies think?
