38 HLF decided to give it another shot with my 39 LLM fiancee after a brief trail seperation.

During the seperation, I was focusing on my mental health and therapy while I asked my partner to focus on talking with his doctor and getting tested for low testosterone as a potential issue to the DB. During this time, I decided that a companion breed dog would be a great asset to my mental health and upon my return home we discussed and agreed to getting a rescue dog for my well being. He had called his doctor and would be getting blood work scheduled once he got the requisition. First night back we had a great sex night and I thought things really would be different this time... 2 weeks go by, and still getting sex once a week as asked, but then I get notified of a dog for rescue and I pick up our new dog mid-week. First day with the dog and my SO is having anxiety issues already... dog was scared of him and I feared that our new pet was abused previously by a man which is making him fearful of new men. I asked my partner to give it time.. that our dog is a rescue and may have trama in his past.. give him at least 1month to learn we are safe and won't hurt him... First week with dog, no sex.. second week..no sex... back to the old pattern but this time it's the dogs fault..

Its been a month or so now without sex again... I love my new dog and my partner is still getting used to him and is still having anxiety issues. In addition, I am still waiting for him to get his blood work to see if he is low in testosterone (he didn't followup with his doctor on the requisition when it never showed up in his email after his appointment in May; blood work is scheduled for this weekend.)

He get upset that our dog doesn't like him as much as he loves me.. I honestly cannot win and now I don't even care about having sex again... what's the point of trying when your partner doesn't need it or care to try.. guess I will just go back to taking care of myself again.
