Hello,

I'll be visiting Davis next week for about a week and thought it might be a good chance to try something I've been psyching myself up for literally a YEAR which is to share some very short and not fully fleshed out comedy bits I've come up with.

I do *not* want to do this at a solely improv/comedy focused event as I know I wouldn't feel comfortable there for a variety of reasons. In the town where I am from, there used to be a lot of open mic nights that allowed a variety of acts including songs, poetry, comedy/jokes and more. Like a variety show.

Is there anything like that in Davis these days? When I tried to research it most of what I found seemed really out of date, pre-pandemic.
