Getting back on dating apps after 5-6 years?

I took a little time off from dating to focus on my Master's degree. I am not looking for marriage quite yet....I just graduated in December. I am looking for some apps that are good for short-term dating. I would be open to Tinder, but I am physically average looking. 32M here. I don't want my Master's degree and job have women thinking I am out of their league or anything. Thoughts? I guess what I am looking for is companionship, friends, short-term dating? I don't want to committ to long-term as I may move out of area/state at some point.
