It's not often, after performing a script, my feelings overwhelm me so much that I have to take a break and ground myself. Like the words are so powerful, I'm sucked right in to the story. This script by u/TeasedToTears did just that. It is a horrific scenario and so well written. As a horror fan, I couldn't help but bring this script to life...

Synopsis:

I am telling the story of a date turned into a nightmare. I find myself in a situation where I am tortured not only by someone else, but also by myself, my past, and my own inability to remember something that may explain who I really is and why any of this is happening to me...

Maybe it was the wine, but I found myself looking into his eyes deeply. Wanting him to see mine.

Letting him see how much I was enjoying being with him.

After a few sips of my port, I felt myself growing slightly dizzy and then slowly finding it impossible to keep my eyes open.

The last thing I recall was him smiling and saying the words, "Now, I guess you are going to find out..."

When I woke up, the first thing I recall was the smell. Freshly cut wood. Lumber.
