There’s only one television character Pedro can be compared to. That’s Dexter. Why? They’re both Serial Killers of other Killers and Criminals. Can there be any other comparisons to any other characters on television? Are there any other serial killers that fit that same description of killing multiple killers and generally bad people like Dexter? No? Geese Louis, before you go rushing off to Reddit to be contrarian, how about you provide an example of who better resembles Dexter Morgan. Pedro killed innocents, that’s not up for debate. But, ain’t many people who did what he did in terms of killing other killers and to the numbers he reached

I was a fan of Dexter first and then got into True Crime later. Was curious to see if there was ever a serial killer who like Dexter focused on killing other killers. Pedro was the closest example of that because that trait of being a killer’s killer is ultra-rare for serial killers. Also caught a Vice interview with the guy when he got released. He was clearly a Ultra-Macho psychopath piece of shit.

Ohhh I absolutely do NOT trust that system. It’s the same system that released Pedro back into the public. Which is an insane concept here in the states. If you commit murder in prison, you aren’t leaving an American prison. How someone can kill multiple people in prison and still walk out is mind boggling.

I don’t think he had a code like Dexter Morgan. That character being fictional and a romantic take on being a killer. I believe Pedro was a lot simpler: he merely wanted to be the Biggest/Baddest Person in Prison.He was willing to kill and dominate any other inmate(Killers &Rapists included) to reach that notoriety. Why he was released from Prison is beyond me. Obviously he was unstable and shouldn’t have been released to the public. He’s not a Hero in my eyes. But, I speculate families of victims of his Victims were relieved to learn Pedro killed their perpetrators. I wonder if they hold him to high regard, hence why he was released from prison.

I made the comparison to Dexter, being a person that studies a multitude of serial killers. Knowing that the great majority of serial killers don’t kill other killers or criminals. The concept of a killer focusing their kills on other killers is the premise for the show Dexter, which is fiction. The closest representation of that in real life I stated is Pedro. You merely retorted with a disagreement and pointing out Pedro also killed innocents, not just killers and rapists. I didn’t disagree with those facts. I just reiterated he’s a killer of killers none-the less. A very rare trait for a serial killer, hence why he stuck out to me when I first learned of him. You just stuck on the argument he’s not like Dexter. So I asked is there ANY other Serial Killer that remotely comes close to Dexter that you can provide that can be a better comparison than Pedro. You just refused, so yeah, you’re just being contrarian at this point. A good debater would go “Pedro is a poor comparison to Dexter. A better fitting comparison is _______.”

Never said his killings were good. No killing is good IMO, allegedly “justified” or not. Even if they’re inmates, where potentially they can be innocent. I’m not defending the guy, where many of his killings in prison were for menial issues he had with other inmates. He clearly has issues and should have never been released from Prison. But did he kill other killers and rapists? That indeed he did do. Maybe cus they gave em the stinkeye, maybe he just didn’t like their face. Regardless It’s messy and not as romantic as the character Dexter Morgan. But, isn’t most reality as compared to Fiction?

Look it up, majority of his kills are while he’s in prison. His victims were other inmates who were either killers or rapists. Really doubt any of them were just innocent people serving time
