I had a mixer bar shower, attached to the water pipes via a dogleg/eccentric connector screwed into what I guess are those brass plate things which are buried in the wall ... but that connector is just wrong for the new shower I have bought.
I've removed the old shower and screwed in some 15mm isolator valves so I can turn the water back on again ... obviously this is a temporary measure.
I need something I can screw into the fitting in the wall (which the isolator is currently screwed into) and can then connect the shower to.
Is this the thing I need ... https://www.screwfix.com/p/tesla-brass-compression-adapting-flexible-tap-connectors-15mm-x-1-2-2-pack/2665R?gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIzrGE2-eQiQMVJZZQBh2aqQUCEAQYBSABEgKtOfD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds#product_additional_details_container ... it's a 15mm pipe I can connect the shower to ... and a male thread I can screw into the thing in the wall ... is the 1/2inch thing more to do with the screw thread specification ... is that typically what the threads are on the 15mm compression pipe things ?
