Hi everyone!

I’ve wanted a stand for a while now, and I was just wondering if I could get some additional opinions.

When I searched the sub for [CHAT] I came across a few recommendations for the Edmunds Universal (links below, sorry, I’m on mobile) but I was wondering if anybody had used or recommended the Edmunds Stitchers Wonder? The time is right for me to finally spend a small amount of money on one (like up to $75ish maybe?), so I’m okay with spending the extra money on the Stitchers Wonder if it’ll be a stand that lasts for me. Also there’s the 50% off coupon being offered at Michael’s right now which will help out a ton.

I’ve also seen comments that the Michael’s brand stand works just as well, so if you have any feedback or additional info to add there, I would definitely appreciate it.

Keep in mind I know that the less expensive stands aren’t a permanent solution and I hope to buy a nicer one in the future, but I don’t want to drop hundreds of dollars on a more expensive stand and then realize I would rather go back to just holding my frame.

If the Universal stand is good enough, I may just go ahead and buy an Ottlite as well because I’ll be saving more money (and JoAnn’s has a 50% off Ottlite coupon).

I’m grateful for any and all opinions at this point. I’m currently doing the Yoshi’s Island pattern which I believe will be the largest I ever attempt, so I won’t be needing any super giant stands any time soon.
