Hi I need your help
I have moved to my new apartment and got internet with Cox 1000 mega bytes
It had been going smoothly until about 2 weeks ago
My internet keeps disconnecting for 2 to 3 seconds every 5 minutes like a pattern
I have not changed anything in my home and nor have I added any new device
I have called a technician he checked everything and told me to switch out my router
I switched out my router at the local Cox store and I am still having the same internet disconnecting every 5 second problem
This has caused Zoom calls, streaming and online gaming to be impossible
I had another technician come down today and he said the internet fine on their end.
This problem persists for phones, Ethernet wired Desktop computers and WiFi connected laptops.
I have the ping plotter data showing the consistent disconnect every 5 minutes

If anyone ever had similar issues and had solved them please let me know
Sounds like packet loss. You should call up tech support and have them check your signal levels. Also I'd ditch Cox's stock router and get something like Eero or Nest as your router.

This.
But if you've tried another router that's not Cox brand and you're still having the same issues it's probably something to do with the lines at your home or the box at the street level.
