So this isn’t exactly cosplay but something to put on my wall. I’m currently starting to draw up a project (Figures I try jumping in the deep end for my first one) and I need a bit of help and figured someone on here might have the experience with lighting. I want to make all 8 kanji light up in the circle on a timer. I want to top it all off with an analog clock
I was planning on hollowing out the handle/forward of the circle to fit a lithium battery, timing circuits, and clock.
So here’s my problem: I’m stumped on right now is how to implement the kanji since I want all of them to light up separately and not be blocked by the symbols in front of them
I’m thinking using layering acrylic with grooves for a single kanji, thin layer of tape/separator, rinse and repeat. I’m considering fiber optic cables since they’d be clear and I might be able to route all the kanji using 2-3 sources.
All in all: If anyone has experience in this kind of realm or just an idea on better implementation I’d appreciate anything
