I opened a can of chickpeas and as soon as I pierced the can it spurted liquid out violently for a good few minutes. Obviously I took this to mean that the chickpeas were bad and so I chucked them away and didn’t use them. However, the liquid spurted everywhere and I’m worried that it spurted on some of the food which I did then eat. Do you think I should seek immediate medical advice/ go to the hospital? I don’t have any symptoms yet as far as I can tell, but I only ate about an hour ago. I have a history of being a hypochondriac, so I don’t know if I’m overreacting or if my concerns are justified. Any advice is welcome.
