Got Xfinity earlier today, have tried setting up my modem and TV but both processes are bottlenecked by making you download the Xfinity app. I've installed the app, have tried logging in with the correct username and password, and then once I enter it I just get redirected to the same login page again.
This is absolutely terrible service, and it's making me question why I'm using Xfinity in the first place when they can't even have a functioning log-in. The only solution I've found online is to disable auto-authentication... but of course, that's in account settings, which you have to log in to get to.
Also, who thought it was a good idea to require internet to set up your modem in the first place? How seriously dumb is that?
Could use help, or I'm returning all this stuff tomorrow.
