I'm currently pursuing my bachelor's in Criminal Justice as a full time student, however, I've decided that I no longer want to continue studying after the semester is over. Reason being is that I'm completely burnt out from having to maintain a 12 to 15 credit schedule and still feeling unsure if this is the right field for me. On top of that, my tuition is being paid by a scholarship which requires students to be full time and I feel as if I were to take an lighter schedule, I'm going to be in school for even longer. Therefore, I think it would be in my best interest to use my associates degree to get a job so I can get some experience and not feel as though I'm forever stuck in college., I'm still a little scared about what the future holds for me and if I can even succeed out there in the real world. However, I trust myself enough to know that I'm not going to let myself stagnate and that I will always continue to be ambitious, even if I were to fail multiple times. Resiliency has always been my strong suit.
I just wanted to put this out there as an online footnote in my life, knowing that things are going to change but to always reassure myself that I'm making the right decision. Even if it doesn't feel like it right now.
Tldr; I'm planning to stop going to college for the time being because I'm tired and feel a little lost. So I want to use my associates to look for a job in field to gain experience and a change in scenery.
