TLDR: I am analyzing bracket performance and need your help! Fill out the Google Survey below to add your brackets to my dataset!
Hello everyone! For the last few years, I have been trying to study March Madness in great depth to see if I can learn how to build a better bracket. Over the course of the last 3 NCAA Tournaments, I have made over 140 Brackets filled out using 3 different categories of selection methods: Random, Statistical, and Intuitive methods.
So far, looking at all of these different brackets has turned out some great results. I am learning quite a bit about how brackets work and the things you need to take into account to win your bracket pool.
While I have a lot of data, I am currently looking for more. That is where you lovely Redditors come in. It turns out, the ESPN Tournament Challenge website does not get wiped out after every tournament. They keep a log of a few years available on your account. Right now, both 2018 and 2019 brackets can still be viewed.
I want to learn about your brackets and gather some more data. I have created a small Google Survey that asks for a little bit of information about your bracket. If you wouldn’t mind, I would love it if you could pick at least one bracket from each season and fill it out the survey for it. The survey can be found here:
If you want more information about my attempted project, here is the Google Sheet that I am using to track all of my work. It will he updated for 2019 in the coming days:

Thanks so much for your help! Hopefully I have some better analysis for you as we hit tournament time in just a few months!!
