Following the brief sigh of relief uttered by Turkish Security Forces, the The Red Agriculture Committee (KITAR-KOM) has begun to step up it's efforts in turning the rural countryside revolutionary. This is a cautious and slow process; previous efforts have not been received very well, with good reason; the TIIKP has not done my programs to directly benefit the countryside yet.

Well, that negligence ends now. The TIIKP has begun to outwardly and openly promote it's promise of Land Reform, and has started up a program to assist poor peasants who need to leave the countryside, whether it is to find jobs elsewhere in the country, or if it's to leave the country altogether to find work.

Excerpts from records of a speech given in Dersim province, which became a common basis for recruitment speeches given across all of rural Turkey.

"Many of you are poor and become only more poor. Why is this? What fault do you have among you which cause this? Do not consider this question; the answer is that it is no fault of your own. Your produce from your farms and from your livestock is bought for pennies on the dollar, and yet, it is sold in and out of Turkey for far greater sums! Where along the way did it suddenly become gold-plated? What work was put in by the owner of the fruit company to allow him to pocket this massive excess? It is you who deserve to be compensated for the work you do! Poor farmers, poor shepherds, the Workers' and Peasants' Party fights for your right to live a better life in a better world! And, as for your landlords, what work does the landlord do that entitles him to your crops, your pay, whatever it is he takes from you? It is you who work the land, who grow the crops and graze the goats, who sell the produce! What right does he have to cut decadent slices from your lives to put on his own plate?"

"If the urban worker is bound by chains, then you are bound by overgrown vines and weeds of a past, medieval order! And just as the hammer smashes the chains, the sickle must slice through the vines!"
