"No one gets the freedom they were told that they deserve. 'Til they realize that freedom's not a noun. It's a verb! It's a verb! Freedom is a verb. Something never finished, never done." - Daniel Kahn

In the midst of New Year celebrations across Yugoslavia, the League of Communists quietly introduced a number of reforms to broadcasting and news reporting across the country. Several station managers across the country have been demoted and removed from the League of Communists for various reasons including 'unprofessional journalism'. In their place, new managers have been elected through worker direct democracy and have been tacitly accepted by the League of Communists following pressure and support from Tito. These new managers, elected in part by a federal effort to clean house, will be allowed further access to governmental inquiries and activities of the People's Assembly and local, state and federal meetings of the League of Communists in order to help increase transparency and allow for quick action to be taken against corruption before corrupt policies become wide-spread. While some information will be redacted for purposes of national security and the integrity of the country, information will be produced in a timely basis for quick and relevant reporting by local and federal broadcasters.
It is hoped that increased reporting and scrutiny into the inner working of the Yugoslav government will help boost governmental action against corruption and show to the Yugoslav people that while corruption is somewhat of an issue, the League of Communists remains committed and is working hard to root out those that would go against their obligations to society for their own individual gain.
