Now this is a story all about how My life got flipped turned upside down And I'd like to take a minute, just sit right there I'll tell you how I became the Chaomuong of a place called Xiangkhoang
In West Indochina, born and raised In the market town is where I spent most of my days Chillin' out, maxin', relaxin' all humble And all shootin' some commies inside the jungle When a guy named Soup who was up to no good Started makin' trouble in my neighborhood I got in one little fight before France had gone And said "You're movin' with your army and leadin' Xiangkhoang"
I begged and pleaded with 'em day after day To give us rights and rule in a more western way They gave us these things, then they gave us a Kingdom I put my record on and said "We gotta fight for Freedom!" Commies said, "Yo, this is bad Drinkin' orange juice out of a champagne glass Is this what the monarchs of Laos livin' like? Hmmm, now this ain't right!"
I was ready for war, and when it came near the army was not, and intervention came clearer Commies invaded, sounding off like a gong and the Kingdom started smuglin' arms off to the Hmong
I got captured by the commies who then called me a traitor And I yelled as they shot me "Yo homes, smell ya later" I failed my kingdom, now that's the end of this song about the rise and fall of the Chaomuong of Xiangkhoang
My goals are the freedom of the Hmong people through negotiations with the cooperation with western powers, and/or the freedom of Laos so long as they maintain their historic acceptance of the multi-ethnic population of the region. Commies aren't bad in this guy's opinion because they are commies, but rather because they keep fucking things up by killing people and leading to more death and overall destruction. And hopefully I can make Indochina a lot more interesting rather than have it fizzle out through UN votes like the last few seasons (that I remember).
