(TL;DR Freedom and Independence attempts to free some important members of the Polish Resistance, through secrecy and force. This is a historic event that was already in place during the night of December 31st - see the Radzyn incident. Two other prison raids that I do not go into occur as well, though they historically fail. As this is a historic event, I have left this event unchanged from last season as the event literally occurs at midnight at game start, so the plans are already in motion.)

January 1st, 1946 | 12:01 AM | Undisclosed Location near Radzyń

"Then it's settled." Franciszek Niepokólczycki nodded to each of his operatives, as he outlined the map before them. "Group A, as designated, will head through Ryneck Market and, using the forged documents and captured Soviet uniforms, present themselves as a shock inspection. While they're doing that, Group B will go through the Bilka River, detach the grates, and attempt entry through Objective A, hereby designated as on the map as "The Palace". Group C will attempt entry through the municipal garden to the north, though will not advance unless gunfire is heard. National Armed Forces members are to stand back as a bulk of reinforcements near the church, loitering around the city and spread out. Remember - the Soviets will kill you anyways if you talk, should you be captured, and if they don't kill you, your words will only lead to more deaths."

He pointed then to the west. "Secondary objective, should there be a moment of chaos, is to acquire from the Printing Shop on Pilsuckiego Blvd. as many printing supplies as possible for the Underground Library; this should only be done if there's ample time, and should be freely done at your own volition. It is not a mandated course of action."

With a hard frown, Franciszek spoke clearly. "Do not, under any circumstances, fire on or bring the battle near City Hall or the orphanage adjacent to it. The Jews and their synagogues have been systematically targeted by the Soviets in the past, and have welcomed our storing of arms and our troops, as have the churches; rely on them for defense. I leave this now to the National Armed Forces leader to discuss what matters he has arranged."

Stanisław Kasznica moved forward, outlining the plan in detail. "All forces save Group A will receive standard equipment as much as we can provide; Sten guns only for Group B, though, due to the waterborn nature of their mission, and as the Lightingbolts don't take kindly to it as much. NSZ forces will remain within their defensive positions regardless of circumstance, until an all-clear by whistle has been given, or until a courier arrives to inform NSZ defensive forces to stand down. Ten M1919 Browning heavy machine guns have been made available to mount within the churches and Jewish synagogues, don't waste 'em, they're a bitch to make in secret, and we don't have many left. Grenades and Molotovs should be used sparingly; we don't need a fire burning out of control and doing more harm than good. Keep things away from civilians, and yes, the orphenage, and we'll be good. God speed. Netta, do you have anything to add?"

Silence.

"Netta..? Netta, where the fuck-

-are we going? This isn't the way to Radzyń." Jerzy looked worriedly at his friend and superior. "This.. This is the road to Warsaw."

Ignacy - a large, broad-shouldered and bald Russian of a man - shrugged as he drove the military truck west, instead of east, where the destination was. "This comes from top bras. Is a simple thing. We will break into Mokotów Prison."

"N... Netta?" Jerzy's face paled. "The... You mean THE Mokotów Prison?"

"Yes." Hieronim Dekutowski spoke up with a smirk, buttoning up his Soviet officer uniform, similar to the one that Ignacy was wearing. "Radzyń is well known to be a target; it's no doubt the Russians are going to be prepared for it. But people would be simply foolish to attack in the heart of Warsaw, tak? So, we do the unthinkable."

"We'll get 'em. Don't worry, Jerzy, you're just here as a lookout with Zo." Bolesław Kontrym smirked, before practicing his Russian and putting on a stern face once more. "We've got the looks, we've got the experience - me and Netta over here have worked in the Empire's service in the past, not these damned Soviets, but we know the Russian way enough. Talk big, show the papers, and demand immediacy or threaten death." He lowered his voice, broadening his shoulders dramatically. "Is simple Komrade! No? Hah! Agaton, you got the-"

"Papers? Yeah, I got the papers. I didn't do three years in training forging documents and memorizing the Soviet structure just to fuck up now." Stanisław Jankowski tossed each of them their respective paperwork. "I helped refurbish the jail before the war, I know this area like the back of my hand. The other units have their paperwork. Let's do this thing."
