"We got the Brain," Julen nodded to the group that was still at the ETA meeting in Bayonne; "we got the Brawn," He motioned to the guns they had acquired or otherwise fabricated; "Now let's start getting the blood to get both working. I'm talking money, people. Revolution doesn't pay itself."

"Agreed." Telesforo nodded. "We also need to make a statement very clearly that we are willing to take action - both against the Spanish, and for the Basques. So here is what I propose. We rob the Banco Guipuzcoano, and in doing so, burn all records that we can possibly find in regards to debt of anyone in the Basque counties. The state will hate us, as this is a national bank, and will lose money to us. The people will love us, and be more free to operate. Let's not take any lives unless in self defense."

Telesforo took out a map of Villabona, pointing out the location of the bank. "Here's what we'll do. A MAT can fit just about anywhere when folded, so we don't have to worry about concealment too much if we just use them. We'll use the fabricated ones; we got about thirty so far, and that should be more than enough. That way, they can't link us to the railroad through serial numbers if they get ahold of our MAT's."

Julen nodded. "Yup. Here's what we'll do. We'll storm in, group of four trucks; two of them expendable. The streets here are very narrow, so a simple car crash can keep the police - which are to the south of us - at bay long enough to make our escape. These are one-way roads, so I want the two trucks that are non-expendable to be some God-damn battering rams; get a plow on the front if need be. We'll head west over the river, have the two trucks block some roads and the bridge, and fade into the mountainous boondocks."

"And the secured borders that Franco's enforcing since last month?" Txabi spoke up now.

Julen looked at him, aghast. "What, Franco's got guys manning the entire French border? Even the mountains? Really? That would be diplomatic suicide if he kept that up; you don't see Germany posting border guards in Denmark, or France with SMG's at the border of Luxembourg. Here's what we'll do - let's contact some French news reporters, small time, tell them we're freedom fighters and let them record us as we cross the border. Shit goes down, we git shot, then we're martyrs, eh? Local small French news reports it, French basques go 'What the fuck, man, they're killing our kin!', bring it up to the French, and there goes Spain's arms supply and standing in NATO. Simple."

Txabi nods. "Can, uh, can we keep some of those M1 Garands back on the mountain side, with like, scopes or something? Cover fire if border guards act up?"
