AAR: Op Aluminum Poodle & Op Yield Burgundy
Post Body

This AAR thread is dedicated in memory of GruntBuster7, who could not be here with us today because he got the shit murdered out of him almost instantly in both missions. Gone but not forgotten. Rip in pepperonis, etc., GB7.

Another weekend concluded, and we can comfortably say we mostly completed most of our objectives!

Op Aluminum Poodle

We rescued one of the recon guys, that counts for something, right? Right? Anyone? Is this thing on?

Pretty damn fun though. Definitely the best "split teams, some need to be rescued by the others" mission we've run. The rescuees really were stuck in a bad place at the start and really did need rescuing, we swooped in and mostly-rescued one of them. Sounds like there was some confusion about sticking together vs splitting up and that may have ended up with them being picked off before we could arrive, but that's part of the challenge I suppose. Your thoughts?

Op Yield Burgundy

Here we went all Sherman's March To The Sea through the center of Chernogorsk. Buildings came down, tanks blew up, people threw themselves off buildings, and a plane bombed some stuff. These things happen, you know.

Command stuff, pacing, inventory, difficulty, mission unique things (demo opportunities, etc), you get the drill. Feedback please!

Another weekend down, well done CBB!
