Looking to finally buy Civilization 6 but I need some help

Steam has Civ6 on sale and I'm finally looking at buying it but once I got to the store page I saw all the DLC options. Are the 2 main DLCs RISE AND FALL & GATHERING STORM worth getting? The bundle seems like a good deal for $40 but Im pretty frugal.
