Part of the reason I was so excited to participate in the Civcraft community was that map resets didn't happen on this server. From ttk2's speech at the end of 1.0, I knew his heart was broken by the corruption that brought about the map's end. Now that his credibility has ultimately been stripped by the decision to prematurely end 2.0, I worry that there isn't even a promise about the stability of 3.0 to keep us going. Instead, we get hints of others taking over the server. We've even learned that if we don't meet certain quotas the project may be abandoned completely. Is there no merit in seeing this through, at least once, to a natural conclusion?
