Saraliana's sovereignty and its role in the NEA

Thought I should bring this up: Saraliana recently consolidated its sovereignty from Iria. Since Saraliana is not a member or observer state in the NEA, and since my only present allegiance is with Saraliana, I'm technically not a member of any NEA affiliated state. (Am I still an associated member?)
We have a meager population again spearheaded almost entirely by myself. I'm not sure what Saraliana's role in the NEA will come to be, but I was hoping you could share your opinions on the matter. Or we could bring up the subject during our next meeting.
