Before anyone chat hear me out. Overall no the saying is not bad, what I’m talking about specifically is people saying “god forgive” directly after saying something they know is wrong to say. It’s like a get out of jail free card to do something immoral. Not to mention it’s by people who shown me Christianity like my family.
I’m 19 and it’s my first time branching out and learning more about religion and see a lot of things that are confusing me and this isn’t helping. Guess the main issue is I don’t have any religious people in my life that I’m close with to look up to that I can ask questions with. Idk maybe this is a seeking help post to guide me through faith. Despite what I heard about the Bible controversy I still am devote and praise god. Think seeing bad religious people just isn’t helping my case. Sorry if I’m offending anyone I’m not trying to if it sounds like it
