A lot of you are new to the anti-family court system. Hopefully these tips will help you.
Going into Family Court:
DO NOT LEAVE YOUR HOME. You have just as much right to live there as she does, Stay for your kids not her.
IF you leave, it will be seen as abandonment by the courts, and you will lose your children, your home, & your property.
Go to the courthouse Help Center to file your own paperwork.
If they do not have a help center, ask for resources or assistance from the court staff
File your own Child Support Worksheet - It's a computer program, they'll have a copy for public use or should have.
File your own 2 2 3 parenting plan. Google this, it'll help you fill it out.
File an Ex parte if you feel you must but can be frowned on by the Judge when a man does it.
IMPORTANT:::: CLAIM DIRECT EXPENSES on CS worksheet - This is very important and will LOWER your child support payment monthly and save you about 85% of what she wants**.**
Direct Expenses are for Clubs, camps, lessons, sports, activities, and all associated equipment
File for 50 / 50 on the parenting plan
Do a 2 2 3 parenting plan:
`You have kids Monday and Tuesday and every other weekend
She has kids Wednesday, Thursday and Every other weekend
You get every Fathers Day, Give mom every Mothers day
If you’re a veteran, ask that you get EVERY Veterans day.
Split all other holidays, every other year with each of you
Summer – can stay on 2 2 3 plan or do a week on, week off.
You want to be the HOME ADDRESS for your kids School.
Split Taxes Each year so you both get to claim your child on your year. You have just as much right to the tax return as she does.
For Clothes, each parent will buy and maintain kids clothes while at their respective home.
Subpoena her W2 / Paystub so you can get an accurate income amount. Believe it or not if they provide the court with a paystub it will be altered and falsified.
Learn your Local Court Rules, that’s what the lawyers do, and so can you. Print them if you have to.
Learn your States Divorce Laws
Keep everything about the kids. Do not talk to her about anything other than the kids and nothing else.
And above all, know that there are no less than 56 Federal, State, County, City agencies, Private Collection Companies, your employer, and more working against you to take your money!
I hope this helps, and hopefully the new guys will read this and get something out of it. If anyone else has other helpful tips or tricks, please share them.
EDIT: Tie your kids residence to the school district you live in and force Mom to move where you live. Then put in the parenting plan, that if either parent moves out of the school district that parent staying in the school district gets custody.
