Experience buying tickets hours before kickoff?

I was wondering what everyone’s experience is with buying tickets a few hours before kickoff as I’m considering doing that for the Rams game this Sunday? Which apps are generally the best/cheapest for doing so (Ticketmaster, StubHub, TickPick, Gametime, etc.), and are the ticket prices a few hours before usually the lowest they’ll be?
