We'll cover the first few days now and add info on future events in a new post.
Thursday, 6 February
Medals won today: None
Snowboard - slopestyle qualification.
The first event of Sochi 2014 and a discipline making its Olympic debut. Britain's Jenny Jones is a three-time X Games champion, while Billy Morgan is Team GB's top male contender
Saturday, 8 February
Medals won today: Biathlon (men's 10km sprint), cross country skiing (women's skiathlon), freestyle skiing (women's moguls), snowboard (men's slopestyle), speed skating (men's 5,000m).
Snowboard - men's slopestyle final.
Canada's Mark McMorris and US legend Shaun White were expected to feature in the battle for men's gold until White pulled out on 5 February, citing "the potential risk of injury" on a course where Norway's Torstein Horgmo had earlier broken his collarbone. That leaves McMorris - himself competing with a broken rib - and fellow Canadian Seb Toutant among the leading contenders for gold.
Sunday, 9 February
Medals won today: Alpine skiing (men's downhill), biathlon (women's sprint), cross country skiing (men's skiathlon), figure skating (team event), luge (men's singles), ski jump (men's normal hill), snowboard (women's slopestyle), speed skating (women's 3,000m).
Luge - men's singles.
Felix Loch of Germany has been streets ahead of his luge rivals all season. The defending Olympic champion, 24-year-old Loch has also won the past two world titles. Italian veteran Armin Zoggeler, entering his sixth Winter Olympics, is one of few entrants equipped with the skill to deprive Loch. Zoggeler has won a medal in each of his past five Olympic appearances.
Monday, 10 February
Medals won today: Alpine skiing (women's super combined), biathlon (men's pursuit), freestyle skiing (men's moguls), short track speed skating (men's 1500m), speed skating (men's 500m).
Freestyle skiing - men's moguls.
Canadian duo Mikael Kingsbury and Alex Bilodeau (the winner in Vancouver four years ago) have been utterly dominant in moguls this season. American Patrick Deneen will try to stand in their way during an event which runs late into the Sochi night.
Tuesday, 11 February
Medals won today: Biathlon (women's pursuit), cross country skiing (individual sprints), freestyle skiing (women's slopestyle), luge (women's singles), ski jumping (women), snowboard (men's halfpipe), speed skating (women's 500m).
Snowboard - men's halfpipe.
Shaun White has had a busy few years since he won this event at Vancouver 2010: the American has cut his famed "flying tomato" hair, been arrested for vandalism, played guitar in a rock band, and dominated the X Games circuit. Can he win again? Not since 1998 has the United States failed to take Olympic men's halfpipe gold.
Ski jump - women.
After a court battle and years of pressure, women have at last been given the chance to jump at the Games. This historic contest promises to look stunning under floodlights. Diminutive Japanese teenager Sara Takanashi will be the favourite if American world champion Sarah Hendrickson fails to recover from ligament damage sustained in the autumn.
Feel free to make bets on these events or any others!
