So, long story short, I got a 2018 T/A from a dealership an hour and a half away in mid December. Part of the deal was the car only had one key, so they were gonna get me a remote start to get me a second key and to make up for another issue. They're a busy shop and 90min away so we agreed I'd take it to the Dodge dealer 10min down the road from MI casa. Well today was the day to go get it installed, and they told me $720. I might be a pinecone, I am new to cars. But that's because I've been an electrician for the past 20 years. I'm done driving service vans and live this car, but $720 to install a couple boxes and terminate a few wires... I don't pay for that. I GET paid for that. I know my problem is programming it, but it looks like it might be possible if I buy the right programming tool, which seems to be much less than $720....
Anyways, I'm handy, I have tools, I can wire anything that I have the info for. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
I'll get a Compustar otherwise. In which case, I got an OEM remote start for sale, easy to install, hit me up!... lol
