video recommendations for a bad hand injury?
Post Body

Hello!

I am hoping to get a little help here - I JUST started Centr 4 days ago, and I would really like to not stop for a week or two this early on BUT I injured one of my hands today. Deep cut, 8 stitches. Not supposed to use the hand at all for a week.

I asked the doctor and I AM allowed to exercise as long as I don't use the hand or jolt the hand. Mostly lower body exercises for at least the first week. There should be minimal to no arm motion.

I was wondering if anybody is aware of any no equipment beginner lower body exercise videos that really don't jostle or use the hands/arms at all. I am going to browse myself and see what I can find, but I was hoping maybe y'all could also point me to a few.

Either way, I hope you're all healthy and able to work out to the level that you want to!

Hey thank you so much, I will try those!

I also found Lower Body Hip Opener with Luke & Alexz and Bobby's Mobility Booster which worked with a bit of modification (like with Mobility Booster, for the windmills, instead of putting my hands on the ground, I have my elbows bent, hands touching chest, but still raised my arms and twisted).

I do keto/extremely low carb so unfortunately the foods section doesn't work for me. I would love to NOT do keto, but the whole reason I went on keto was because of gastrointestinal issues that no doctor seems to be able to actual give me a diagnosis for (long story short, when I eat more than a small amount of sugar/starch, I have extreme bloating and horrific farts. I do a ton of probiotics, I've had all the testing, I've done elimination diets and the only thing that works is keto/extremely low carb).

I am also having the issue of my right hand being totally useless, so cooking is mostly out because I can't chop or cut. I've been roasting or frying a lot of meat or whole veggies and then picking it up with my good hand and eating like that because if I can't cut something with a fork, my only option is to bite chunks off with my teeth.

It's been a very amusing few days and I'm really looking forward to being able to try using my hand again in 4-5 days.

Thank you again for the recs. I can't do so many things I usually do with this hand thing (like post on reddit much, as using the voice to text option involves so much editing), so even if it's not a Centr video, I've actually been doing a lot more simple exercises like lunges because I'm so BORED! : )
