Do celibate relationships exist?

I'm 21 and have been celibate since I was 18. I have not closed off the idea of finding a partner but it's so difficult having to explain my celibacy to guys. Is it possible to have relationships that just aren't sexual but we like each other( I'm open to it getting sexual eventually but I wouldn't really promise that) I don't know if this has something to do with asexuality but I haven't dived into that realm yet.

It has its benefits and drawbacks like any other arrangements/dynamics tbh. As I’m sure is commonplace, communication is the focal point and fundamental piece that makes it work. Ask me anything you want to btw. It’s a highly broad topic of conversation tbh
