I'm seeing more and more fires caused by disposable BBQ's. We are under drought and water shortages.
What better way to waste that resource by using it to put out fires caused by tray BBQ's. Something completely avoidable by not using one. They will be banned soon I'm sure.
Think twice please before buying and using one. We really can't afford to lose such a precious resource. Water is a fundamental resource needed to sustain life.
IF YOU FEEL THE NEED TO USE ONE BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO OTHER OPTION AND YOU ARE ABOUT TO DIE OF STARVATION.
Then make sure it's on top of solid stones and not touching bare grass. Keep an air gap between the tray and the ground where possible.
Lastly, KEEP SOME WATER NEARBY TO PUT IT OUT.
