In my area we have two localish commercial radio stations which I always used to listen to but when my husband and I met he got me onto radio 2. Our car radio is always set to that now.

We also have a community radio station which has terrible signal and only works online about half the time. It's hilarious to listen to. Sometimes when I can't sleep I listen to the hour long show this random guy puts out in the middle of the night where he talks you through all the new comic books he's bought that week and plays music from superhero movies. It's brilliant! He's so awkward and just rambles on.

The best one I heard though was driving the backroads to England, we caught onto a local station and this guy who must have been at least 80 was rambling on about which version of a song was better, because him and his wife disagreed so he played both. He was asking people to phone or email in and say their favourite and we did and he was sooooo excited someone was actually listening he called us live on air and was wittering on. It was brilliant and we made his day, possibly even his year, by texting in.
