Hello everyone, 20 M currently studying BSIT in my 2nd year. For those IT graduates na napilitan lang kunin ‘yung course for different reasons, how’s your career now?

My childhood dream was to design and create beautiful resorts, houses, landscapes, etc. Kaso alam ko na hindi para saakin ‘yon since kulang sa finances at malayo sa school. 5 years pa bago matapos plus board exams. I also heard na maraming ka kompentensya sa industry and hindi gaanong in demand sa bansa.

So napadpad ako sa IT. Kaya ng budget, in demand, 4 years course walang board exam so I took the risk kahit wala akong alam at interest sa course. Consistent with high honors nung HS and SHS pero feel ko sobrang hina ko. Wala akong magets, ni hindi ako marunong mag start ng code without searching. Basic lang alam ko and sobrang na iinsecure ako sa mga kaklase ko since most of them are really passionate sa course.

Ayokong mag shift kasi ayoko maging irregular and ‘yung job opportunities sound promising.
