Charging Stag question:
It's ability states: Each time you Cast an Attack Spell, you may spend 1 Gem to deal 2 DMG to an enemy on an adjacent Hex tile.
When playing two readings were offered:
The first was that player can DMG anyone adjacent to them (this would potentially allow 1 enemy to be receive DMG from spell and companion effect)
The second was that player can DMG anyone on a Hex tile adjacent to the target of the Attack Spell (in a chain lightning) (under this reading you couldn't double hit the same target generally; under this reading there was a question of whether you could hit if the runaway counterspell is used)
Some of the logic relied on was the name and artwork of the card would fit with a chain lightning motif.
(Having reread the card a little more closely the offerer of the second reading changed their mind believing the first was the intended reading as the target of the attack Spell isn't referenced)
What do you think? Is there any official guidance?
