Renault Clio Dynamique windscreen wiper issue.

Hello folks, quick question, my windscreen wipers have started to seize, they aren't going the full coverage of the window and are stopping a couple of inches short. They are also a lot slower than they should be. It happened about a year ago and I got it sorted, will just applying some wd40 help here? Or am I destined to need to take her in to get seen to properly?
