High Input Install w/ factory head unit

Post Body

Hey guys,

I’m installing a self powered 10inch sub under my passenger seat. I have a 2016 Sentra with a factory radio with a factory bose system.

I wasn’t sure if these come with an amp already installed for the system? Maybe someone can help, I couldn’t find any reference guides online.

But anyway, since I’m keeping the stock radio, I wanted to ask if it’s easier to use the high input option, or if I should go the route of using a line output converter and running RCA’s.

Also, if anyone knows of a reference I can refer to to see a wiring diagram to know which wires in the head unit are which, that would greatly help.

Thank you!
