Voice coil body odor
Post Body

Yeah you read that right. My subs are starting to stank!! I had an 800w amp powering my single 12, then that blew when i got the second one installed (no idea why, chased everything and just figured the amp went bad). So i'm using a 600w amp but it's down at 1ohm so there's definitely more power running to them both. I feel that overall there's less power and gain running to both these subs, yet they're substantially more smell. Actually before the single 12 didn't smell at all. Is it the increased airflow that's making me smell the coils more, both subs are inverted but i don't want to be wrong and be roasting my coils???
