So I had to prove a point, I kept my one farad capacitor and stopped running at .5 ohms and went to 1 ohm and now my setup is solid. Mind you I was running it that way on purpose to see how well the capacitor worked and I will say this at .5ohms it’s garbage. I would watch my volts go for 14 down to low 10’s. Now it’s 14 down to like 12.5 at 27 volume it’s like 11.9. Not bad for 1ohm. No headlight flickers. Now if I remove the cap headlights will slightly dim. This could be because of two things 1: I’m hitting hard with led lights. 2 I haven’t fully swapped my headlights aren’t led. I bring this up because I know led uses less power, hence why I swapped all my lights just need two bulbs I’ve been dragging on. So I hear all the people in here talking crap about caps well, I hope this post helps prove that they do work in the right conditions and work rather well. Mind you I’m monitored the voltages three ways. Two via plug in type readers and one through obd2 connection. The latter being the one I really trusted. If anyone else has a two month test to prove me wrong, I wait for that post. This is what I came up with. I wasted an amp doing this but that’s what warranties are for.
