Bio major needs ochem

Post Body
So I'm a bio major student and I'm pretty confused. I already took ochem 1 before in a college before I transferred to cpp. I talked to an advisor, she told me if I'm not planning to go to a med or nursing school, I don't really need to take ochem 2 and biochem to be able to graduate. Is that correct? I'm not gonna risk taking those hard core classes if possible. Does anyone know anything about this?
