How does failing 1 class affect getting into grad programs?

Post Body

I’m currently in 5 classes (4 GE and 1 performance group) and I’m doing pretty well in 4 of them. I don’t have anything lower than a B in those 4 courses, but my econ class is kicking my ass. The lectures are long, the course load isn’t light, and overall I’m having a hard time grasping the concepts. I got covid early in the semester and I missed out on 2 big exams that I wasn’t able to make up (yes, I communicated with my professor). Missing those tanked my grade and the fact that I don’t do too well on homework and such isn’t helping. I am trying my best, but I am 100% going to fail this class. What does this mean in the grand scheme of things? I’m a pretty solid student so I know that failing classes isn’t going to be a huge concern in the future, but I already have a W on my transcript from a dance class I needed to drop. I really want to get into the teaching credential program and I don’t want this one stupid econ class and dance class from my first semester in college to determine my entire career. Should I be freaking out rn?
