In Between Two COMM 307 Professors

Post Body

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if you guys could give me any information on these two professors - Sunyoung Park and Lynda McCroskey? The COMM 307 options in terms of professors aren't very high for the Spring Semester '23 (which sucks, I was really hoping for Professor Kahn to be teaching, but he isn't). My list of priority right now is Sunyoung Park, Lynda McCroskey, and then last resort is Yuping Mao based on the limited information I found on Professor Park, since she's new (only have an this instagram post/this article to go off on) and Rate My Professor reviews. I've tried taking Lynda McCroskey before for COMM 400 Nonverbal Communication and I didn't like her that much, she seemed disorganized, went off tangent a lot, and had this weird motto about being attractive ("Don't be Unattractive, Be ATTRACTIVE") and I didn't need her class so I dropped it, so that's why I was more inclined towards Park, but she's fresh out of Ph.D school, so sort of iffy too. She seems nice, but I want to have the best experience possible with my education. If anyone has the syllabus for Lynda McCroskey's COMM 307 class or Sunyoung Park's COMM 307 class so I could compare to really figure out which class I should take so I could finally register for one of my last required classes, that would be really appreciated! or any feedback/review for either of these professors!

Context: Graduating senior in Communication Studies next semester!
