My crps started in my right ankle and spread up to my right thigh. The pain has been managed successfully with nerve blocks aside from my sensitivity to cold. However, I’ve been noticing some random tinges of pain in my right arm for the last week or so and probably of most concern, I’ve been extremely sensitive to the wind from my fan. I put it on the low setting and it still hurts. At first, I thought the air was just cold, but even when my room is pushing 90 degrees the fan still hurts and I have to cover my upper arm with a blanket. I mentioned this to my pain management specialist and he was basically like “keep an eye on it. Come back in eight weeks”. He also said typically crps doesn’t spread up the same side.
