Iām super nervous, mostly because I donāt know what to expect. The doctor told me to make a calm playlist, so I made one of instrumental covers of music that I like thatās neither too excitable or too down. That was tough! Your good thoughts might help vs my nervous heart.
Just a word from a girl who had her 50(!!!) K infusion this weekend:
GOOD LUCK and go in with a truly open mind. What will be will be.
Plan to rest for a few days after. Let your brain do its thing - thatās where youāll get relief
When I started my infusions, I set out to make a really calm playlist. I did sort of succeed but I also learned that I REALLY like to listen to rock music. The exact opposite of what I expected, I want it loud and I want it to have a good beat. This first infusion and the few after will give you a good idea of what you do and donāt want.
Develop a ritual. I have the same routine the night before, morning of and after every single infusion. Getting myself into my āinfusion headspaceā truly makes a difference for the quality of my time under and recovering.
Wishing you health and happiness and feel free to message with questions!
