Every time I hear someone proclaim they're "an empath" I go on high alert because the reality is the opposite a lot of the time.

One for the examples was this one girl was into spirituality, crystals, astrology etc but was one of the most vile and judgemental people I've met. Another guy kept saying how "empathetic and caring" he was but was actually very rude to me and other people around him. Very condescending and arrogant, the cold and aloof kind.

In my personal experience, those self proclaimed empaths are wolves in sheep's clothing.
